We sat in her car and an exhausted and overworked me continued to say yes even though I really needed sleep. She turned to me and half scolded me, that I needed to learn how to say no - and that it would be ok. It took some practice to do this without coming off too harsh, but after some time, you find the balance and the reward of setting such important boundaries.
