Scope management is particularly very important in a fixed scope project. Scope should be agreed and approved in the early stages of the project. 1. Obtain sign off on the SOW document 2. Align expectations with all stakeholders 3. You should always align with your BA any contractual and verbal agreements with the client regarding scope or requirements. 4. Any out of scope requirements should go through the formal change request process. 5. Any changes to an approved and signed SRS document should also be treated as a change request, even if it is within the project scope. 6. Make sure your team reviews SRS documents thoroughly before sending them for client sign off. Internal changes during implementation can be costly!
