AI-generated Abstract
The analysis focuses on residency applicant data in anesthesiology, revealing that neither research training nor publications predict a successful match. This raises concerns regarding the recruitment of physician-scientists, as many programs seek applicants aligned with their clinical and educational missions. Despite evidence indicating that a passion for research is crucial for academic success, the study suggests a need to improve recruitment strategies to identify potential physician-scientists effectively.
Plastic particles resulting from the breakdown of bigger plastics may be introduced directly as micro-and nano-sized particles polluting the marine ecosystem, including ocean-extracted table salt. This study investigated the presence of microplastic (MP)-like particles in table salt from Bangladesh, focusing on both locally refined and commercially branded varieties. Local salt samples from Sadar and Moheshkhali Sub-district of Cox's Bazar contained an average of 23.4 and 12 particles kg -1 , respectively. In contrast, no particles were detected in commercial brands, likely due to their complex refining processes. The study also explored factors influencing local salt consumption, finding it influenced by the economy, availability, education level, occupation, income level, and misperceptions about local salt's health benefits compared to commercial brands. Interestingly, the study found that 71% of local salt consumers believed it to be more beneficial than branded salt, while education level influenced salt preference, with 83% of graduate and 53% of primary-educated individuals opting for commercial brands. These findings provide a valuable foundation for further research on MP exposure in different consumer groups, highlighting the need to investigate potential health risks and inform policy decisions regarding MP contamination in table salt in Bangladesh.

Video games are complex, emergent systems that are difficult to design and test. This difficulty invariably leads to failures being present in the game, negatively impacting the play experience of some. We present a taxonomy of possible failures, divided into temporal and non-temporal failures. The taxonomy can guide the thinking of designers and testers alike, helping them expose bugs in the game. This will lead to games being better tested and designed, with fewer failures when released.

The NSEC is pleased to announce its upcoming courses Advanced Pediatric Life Support APLS "Ultrasound-Enhanced life Support "USLS-BL1 Target audience: This course, accredited by AAP and ACEP has been designed to meet the growing needs of emergency physicians, pediatricians, nurses and all other health care professionals. It provides them with a complete body of knowledge in Pediatric Emergency Medicine. A textbook on Pediatric Emergencies will be delivered to the candidates prior to the course. Each chapter or "module" of education of this textbook is case based and covers the key elements of assessment, diagnosis, testing, treatment, and disposition. Each chapter also includes references, helpful tables and charts, photographs and illustrations. The course is conducted in small group discussion format.

A problem is not an objectively existing thing. It cannot be found in the world. We do not know what a problem looks like. We do not know if it is black, noisy, dancing or sleeping' H. Nørreklit, 1991, p. 38 Being a young and hopeful PhD student in the early 1990s, it was kind of a revelation to meet professor Nørreklit's work on problems and problem recognition (H. . Here we found some of the answers to a very specific problem; how to do proper research in an action-and problem-oriented research setting? Professor Nørreklit skechted out a conceptualising method, where we could see ourselves and our research in a paradigm with a theory and some methods that were much better suited for the kind of research problems we were confronted with. That was theory and method that was much better suited to our projects, than the kind of semipositivist, deductive and naïve realist methods offered by the traditional business school establishment. By taking an outset in real-life problems and looking at them through the lens of the conceptualising method, it was possible to do proper research that simultaneously could benefit the field in question. Our university (Aalborg University) pride itself of being a university where problem-based learning and problem-based research are at the centrepiece of all teaching and research activities and our projects followed that problem-oriented path. Therefore, the analysis of the problem as we found it in professor Nørreklits's work came in handy. Finally, we had something that we found meaningful, relevant, and useful in a problem-oriented research context. In the following I will take a closer look at the problem of problem and show how problem can be conceptualised and through that form the basis for problem-based research and problem-based learning.
CATRA learning media is an Android-based learning module with a gamification approach. This study is motivated by the dominance of conventional methods in Senior High Schools, which shows the need for an innovative approach to learning. CATRA is designed as a multidimensional projection instrument to present the Four Noble Truths (Cattari Arya Saccani) material to create a more interactive and motivating learning environment. The methodology applied is research and development (R&D), with data collection procedures including observation, interviews, literature studies, and validation. The validation results from media experts, material experts, and Buddhist religious education teachers showed a very high level of feasibility, with a total score of 334, an average of 4.4, and a percentage of 88%. Based on these parameters, CATRA is classified as "Very feasible" and should be implemented in learning in senior high schools. Statistical analysis using the Paired Sample T Test showed a significant difference between learning outcomes before and after the use of media, with a calculated t value (-8.428) smaller than the t table (-2.2009) and a P value (0.00) smaller than 0.05. These findings indicate the effectiveness of CATRA in improving students' understanding of the material being taught. The significant difference between the average pre-test and post-test scores validates the positive impact of this learning media. Based on the study's results, further studies are recommended to explore the development of similar media for other learning materials to expand the scope and improve the effectiveness of educational innovation in a broader learning context.
