This article deals with the relationship between rhetorical communication and digital technology, which allows for a broadening of the audience of oral (and visual) rhetorical discourses (e.g. due to radio or audiovisual transmission of speeches) but also a specialisation of audiences in the case of specific communication platforms and channels.
