In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Rest API Calls Broken – 6.2Thank you for your reply – as mentioned before, this completely breaks the domain key functionality and we have been unable to use any of the CDN or QUIC Cloud services due to this error, so although it may be that only your server IPs will get the OK message, functionality of the plugin for it’s users has also been affected.

Upon further investigation we are still having the same issue – emptying browser cache and hard reload does nothing, deleting all images via FTP doesn’t help, removing all relevant database entries doesn’t work either, combining all of these is still producing the same result of the image not updating.
EDIT – you definitely need to clear CloudFlare CDN as a part of this
Steps to fix –
– Delete image in media library
– Check three database entries are gone
– Check FTP files are all gone
– Clear CDN
– Go into developer console on browser and force an ‘Empty cache and hard reload’ by right clicking on the refresh buttonIf there are any further protocols which can be put in place on WordPress to prevent this being an issue that would be of incredible use – many thanks

Is it possible that you could elude as to which part of our custom CSS is causing the issue?
If you are able to also provide the CSS which will achieve the flex as it was before in previous versions that would be the best for us, as we have spent a long time styling the plugin.

Thank you for your detailed response.
Clearing the browser cache by doing an ‘Empty cache and hard reload’ solved some of the issues where the images had been directly replaced using the ‘Enable Media Replace’ plugin, however images which had been deleted from the media library only were appending a number onto the image filename and uploading this image as a separate file.
This was causing the original image (EG image.jpg) to not be replaced and for ‘image-1.jpg’ to be generated instead.
The remedy for this we found here under ‘Using SSH/FTP & Database’ – https://www.h3xed.com/web-development/how-to-bulk-delete-all-images-in-wordpress-media-library-and-database
By deleting the three database entries for the original image and each of the variations and then removing all of these images via FTP also, we were able to get the filename back to ‘image.jpg’ with the newly updated image.
It would be a huge timesaver if an image replacement function were built into WordPress, which would alter not only the database tables but the actual image file in /wp-content/uploads
Also the ability to remove both the database entries and the FTP file upon deleting from the media library would also be of incredible use as manually having to run this operation for hundreds of images would be very intensive.

Thank you for your reply and this is no worries – the PHP library error doesn’t seem to affect our functionality at all so is not a major issue.

No worries at all, we have also been very busy!
I think we are on the same page of understanding – at the current time, every product which has a third hierarchical category (we think) will have that as the primary category. If a product has this category then we definitely want that as the primary.
Just to confirm, we have a load of breeds so we would need to ensure that each product is assigned the correct subcategory – so for this link below the card the desired result is ‘Browse by Breed > Golden Retriever > Cards‘

If we are able to change the category ID so we can assign primary for different categories that’s perfect. Also to confirm, all of the products we have which would be assigned this category would be changed to primary – E.G. ‘Breed > Labrador > Cards‘

Defer JS did not make a difference – I backed up our settings and applied the Advanced (Recommended) template and that seemed to fix the issues.

Thank you for your response – we have tried uploading the System Report to your site at https://postmansmtp.com/contact/ as we’d rather not disclose system info for security reasons, however the form doesn’t submit and gives a 403 error in the console.
We’ve tried this on various devices and connections with no success – if you could fix the form we will upload the relevant info as soon as it’s done.
