I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble keeping the LSCache plugin permanently deleted.

To clarify, LiteSpeed is not responsible for auto-installing the plugin on your website. This is a hosting-provider-level issue.

If your hosting provider is using the LiteSpeed cPanel tool, you can opt out of future updates this way:

In cPanel, choose the LiteSpeed Web Cache Manager, select LiteSpeed Cache Management > WordPress Cache and “flag” your site. This will make sure your site is skipped next time the mass installation tool is run.

Otherwise, please contact your hosting provider for help.

Your hosting provider probably added it to your site to improve performance. You don’t actually have to do anything. It should be able to work with just the default settings.

But just to clarify, LiteSpeed doesn’t have the ability to delete reviews (and we wouldn’t do so, even if we could). If your review was removed, it was because a WordPress moderator found it problematic for some reason, unrelated to how many stars you gave the plugin.

I understand how that can be difficult to deal with. I have two ideas for you to try, and if they don’t work, I hope you will consider starting a support thread, so the support team can give you some help figuring out a workflow that doesn’t end in frustration.

1. When you are making changes to your site, you can turn off LSCache functionality while you work. In the Toolbox section, Debug Settings tab, set Disable All Features to ON and save your changes. Once you’re done working, you can set that to OFF to re-enable LSCWP features.
2. You mention you’ve tried to purge cache from everywhere in the plugin. Did you also try it from the CDN side? On your QUIC.cloud Dashboard, in the CDN section for your domain, under Quick Actions, click the Purge All CDN Cache link. It will give you the option of purging everything, or just purging static files. Purging images should help with the issue you describe.

That sounds terrible. I would be completely frustrated by that experience, too. I’ve spoken to the team, though, and we don’t see how the plugin could cause anything like this. Hi, Spacena. I just wanted to clarify that LiteSpeed Cache cannot re-enable itself, and would never do so.

We do provide a tool to hosting providers that allows them to install and enable the plugin, but the tool respects your settings. If you have manually disabled the plugin, the tool will not re-enable it against your wishes. If you are finding that this continues to happen, you will want to speak to your hosting provider about it.
