Here’s why I want that option: I get about 15-20 “people” commenting a week that don’t have websites. They leave a bogus email and the name just means nothing. In WordPress’s comments log, the IPs are shown and these 15-20 people tend to be 5 or 6 people writing comments under different names and emails.
If I’m able to moderate such comments BEFORE they go live, and that includes commentors that DO NOT have websites, I can moderate the comment myself and choose if it goes live or not.

In reply to: “The Best” Hosting, Hands DownSomeone mentioned LinkSky.com and I just wanted to relate that I spent a good 30 minutes on the phone with their customer support department as I asked questions. I was treated well, every question was answered knowledgably, and they were very patient.
I also spoke to reps at Bluehost and Site5. At Bluehost, they tried to rush me off the phone as soon as they realized I was just doing research for a host. When I asked about nightly backups, the woman I was speaking to actually said, “I don’t know if we do that.”
At Site5, speaking to the rep was a similar experience as to LinkSky. Very helpful and knowledgable. Definately patient.
So it seems my decision will be between LinkSky and Site5.
