YOAST Sitemap GSC Errors

    Hi!

    The XML Sitemap Index for my website generated by YOAST can be found at: https://www.italyscapes.com/sitemap_index.xml

    From the 17 sitemaps in this sitemap index, there are 8 of them without Last Modified dates, which generates errors in Google Search Console.

    I have a few questions…

    1. Is this a real problem or it’s not that serious?
    2. The problem comes from YOAST or from another plugin/theme?
    3. How cand I get rid of these errors?

    Hi @ovidiut,

    Thanks for reaching out! We apologize that you experience this issue.

    We had a quick look at your sitemap_index sitemap and see that some sitemaps have ‘c’ as the date modified. However, we are not sure where these sitemaps come from. Meaning, are you using any event plugin on your site? Is that plugin up-to-date and still being developed? We ask since they might be having compatibility issues with our plugin. If so, we encourage you to reach out to them as well.
