I use Co-Authors Plus plugin, and for some reason Yoast SEO has never configured the guest-author sitemap it creates correctly. Each link in the sitemap is always broken. I’ve gotten around this in the past by having Yoast SEO just exclude the guest-author taxonomy from the sitemap. However, NOW you have tied the “no-index” meta tag to pages that are excluded from your sitemap! This is unacceptable, as if your sitemap links are broken it automatically tells search engines to ignore the actual functioning pages as well! See this page as an example of the working page:

Please help me turn off the noindex tags if you are unwilling to make specail co-authors plus links work in your sitemap! I have unfortunately been forced to refrain from upgrading Yoast SEO on my production site until there is a resolution for this.
