I’m getting this in the header on my front page of my site. No other pages show this. What is it and how do I fix it? Thanks

    Hello llgchristy,
in Wordfence options what setting do you have for “How does Wordfence get IPs”? Are you using Cloudflare or something similar?

Well it’s now gone for some reason and I didn’t do anything to fix it (I had no idea what to do.) It’s weird.

But yes I have a CDN through sitelock. For that ip setting I have “Use the X-Forwarded-For Http header….” (I have it set to that because a month ago all the ip addresses were showing up the same and WFMAttR told me to use that setting and it did fix that particular problem.)

But like I said, all that http x forwarded stuff at the top on my front page is just gone now. Maybe something to do with the CDN? It refreshed or chached or something? Idk (I really have no business having a website- I know nothing about this kind of stuff!)

(Side note- I can always count on a timely response from you WF guys!! It’s awesome that you care about your plugin and those using it!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂

    Hello again llgchristy,
I’m glad you feel like you are getting reasonable support. 🙂

Yes, it was likely something that changed with your CDN. It would seem that at some point they did not send the HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR header that Wordfence needs to interpret the IP-addresses. I’m glad it’s cleared up but get back to us if you see the issue again.

I’m setting this to resolved for now but if you have more issues you are free to post a follow up here.
