• Hello peeps,

Hope I can get some help . I am not a web designer, and I am trying to move my website data from Shopify website to a WordPress with WooCommerce new website.

I have saved Shopify data as CSV like products, and I have used the importer to upload to the WordPress site.

I seems to have an issue with the products, most of which show as “draft” and without info or pictures.

And also some strange categories, been automatically created

I can see the importer it’s trying to map the CSV details, but honestly I do not understand If I should change some of the options, and what details to put in the fields…

I read a tutorial, and it sounded like it would have been a simple save CSV from Shopify and upload CSV to WordPress/WooCommerce situations, with photos that have been uploaded under media, so I was expecting it to pick them up automatically .but it is not the case

This is a new site with a temporary address, so I could transfer the data from Shopify, before closing it and my domain gets transferred to the WordPress

All the default plugins have been deactivated apart for the Woocommerce, Woopayments, and WordPress Importer

I have attached a couple of screenshots, and a link to the CSV file if someone could try it

    Hi @alb673

Welcome to Woo, and thank you for reaching out — we’re happy to help!

From what I gather, you want to migrate your Shopify shop to WooCommerce, and trying to do so with the core CSV importer and exporter functionality.

I’d recommend going ahead with a more specialized tool, like Migrate & Import Shopify to WooCommerce (link here), instead.

Keep in mind, if you want to try our products, you can leverage our 30-day refund policy. In a nutshell, it gives you 30 days to try it out, and if the product doesn’t work the way you need or you think another product would work better, we are more than happy to offer a full refund. You’ll find the details of our refund policy here.

I hope this is helpful! Please let us know if you have any further questions about this matter, or if we misinterpret your concern in any way. We will be happy to help you further.
