I’m using Elementor to design the job posts (but assuming this is also the case with other page builders) and when I’m trying to add the taxonomies to the page (job type / job category) they are not available. All other taxonomies I have on the site are showing / available to add, but none of the WJM ones are showing. Is there a way of making the WJM taxonomies behave like normal custom taxonomies in this regard?

I was using the post info widget AND the dynamic terms widget (by JetEngine) and neither were showing the WJM taxonomies BUT I’ve enabled the terms widget on the Dynamic Content for Elementor plugin https://www.dynamic.ooo and they are thankfully showing there 🙂

It would be good though if the taxonomies behaved like other ones though so that you don’t need any extra plugins in order to access them…

    Hi @vaccinemedia

I’m glad that you found a solution for this.

As mentioned on your other thread, please make a feature or enhancement request for this on our GitHub repository.

Since it isn’t possible to adjust this default behavior, I am going to mark this thread as resolved.

OK will do as I have just installed the Fakerpress plugin to bulk generate some jobs for testing purposes and the Job Category and Job Type taxonomies are not available to be selected in there either so I’m going to have to add these in manually to the generated jobs. The Woocommerce tags and categories and all other taxonomies are showing, just not any of the WP Job Manager ones.

Thanks for making the future request.

I’m sharing the link here in case anyone else comes across this thread and is curious:

I’m going to mark this thread as resolved and any discussion of this will happen on Github.
