A Pro-license makes sense if you want to move old Media-files to your bucket. But after this proces you never need to move old Media-files again. So why do you need to pay for a Pro license every year? Imo it would make more sense to pay a one time fee for moving these old files.

    Or am I missing something?

    Hi there!

WP Offload Media Support Team here, Thanks for reaching out with your query we would be happy to assist

The annual renewal of the license is for continuous access to software updates and email support. Once your license expires, you will no longer have access to those two.

However, all features of the plugin will continue to work even after your license has expired, so long as your total offloaded Media Library does not exceed your license limit.

Hope that clarifies! Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Thanks. But I can simply update the plugin via WordPress. And I am getting support also via this forum. So I am not sure what this license would give me other than uploading the old media-files to S3 but that is a one time process.

    Hi @marco-raaphorst,

The pro license includes access to the pro version of the plugin and its updates, which includes several features that aren’t available in the lite version of the plugin.

More about the benefits of upgrading here:
