good evening, I need some advice: I have to make color variations and I wanted all the photos to be of the chosen color (and not from the gallery). I inserted extra images in the variant but I can’t see it. I await your advice. Thank you

    Hi @riccardoviolaeditore

You’ll need to set the image directly on the variation to display a different image for each color variant. Here’s how:

    1. Open the product in editor.
    2. Scroll down to the “Product Data” box and select the “Variations” tab.
    3. Select the specific color variation you want to edit.
    4. In the variation settings, you’ll see an option for “Image”. Click on the image box to upload or select the image you want to use for that specific color variant.
    5. Repeat for all color variations.
    6. Remember to update or publish your product to save your changes.

If you’ve followed these steps and still can’t see the images, a good first step to troubleshooting this would be to try clearing your site and browser’s cache. This can often help in resolving general site loading or performance issues.

I hope this helps! Please let us know how it goes or if you need further assistance.

Hello and thank you for your kind reply. I confirmed that I had managed to do what you told me but I was wondering if the extra photos of the product could also be changed. In fact on the menu there is “add extra photo”. I attach additional screenshots. Thanks again for your kind attention.

    Hi @riccardoviolaeditore,

Thanks for the additional details. Unfortunately, that’s not possible with the default WooCommerce experience. However, we have an extension available that’ll fit your needs just perfectly, you can take a look at it here: https://woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-additional-variation-images/.

Of course you can also consider other options by searching in the WordPress plugin repository.

    Cheers!
