Use existing post type with custom fields in calendar

    Hi, I have a Post category called Events with 2 extra fields (Date and Place). I already have many events and want to display them in the plugin, but it looks like I need to recreate them in the Calendar. Is it possible to create a new Post which will be automatically displayed in Calendar (based on post category), and I want to use only those 2 fields.
