Updated Theme and Now Site is Broken

I updated my theme and now my site is broken. This is the error message that appears on the homepage now:

There has been a critical error on this website.

Access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel (consult your hosting provider’s documentation for specifics on these), navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename /waxon/ to /waxon-broken/
Hopefully, this will force the default theme to activate instead.
