    As described in the linked page, SVG vector images can be used in a WordPress page. However, when using this plugin, the media link doesn’t open in a lightbox, but in its own tab. You can see this effect on that same page.

    I’d appreciate it if you’d add this capability.

    Hi Tyler,

    I’am a fan of SVG, too. I just released an update to 1.4.0 with support for .svg Images.

    But be careful with svg images. I would suggest to use https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/safe-svg/ because just adding the mime-type can be a security issue because .svg images can run JavaScript. Save SVG sanitizes uploaded svg images.
