Spacing between 2 text widgets inside 1 row
-
I created 1 row and stacked 2 text widgets on top of each other. The entire row is blue and each text widget has a red background.
Looking at my published page, there’s a big gap between top and bottom text widgets.
How do I get the top and bottom widgets where there’s no space between them? Again, they’re both inside the same row.

Hi Travor,
Do you have a public URL where I can take a look to see if this a theme issue, or a Page Builder issue?
Hi Alexgso,
Pressure Washing Tomball, The Woodlands, Spring, Cypress. Thanks for looking
Hi Travor,
So I’ve had a quick look and yes, this is a mixture of a theme issue and a Page Builder issue. The following CSS will fix this for all pages. If you navigate to Appearance > Custom CSS, you’ll get our custom CSS editor. Just add the following code.
.widget, .widget h1, .widget h2, .widget h3 { margin-top: 0 !important; margin-bottom: 0 !important; }
You might also need to install the SiteOrigin CSS Editor.
Alexgso, thanks man! Exactly what I was looking for!
Hi travor,
Awesome! Is there anything else I can help you with today?
Alexgso, you’ve been a huge help! I think I’m all set. Before I close this thread I wanted to know if you’re helping in part of SiteOrigin or Kadence Themes?
Hi Travor,
I’m a new SiteOrigin hire tasked with most of the public facing support. If you have any questions or run into any issues, please feel free to post a thread and I’ll try to resolve it as soon as possible. 🙂
Issue resolved. Superior support from Alex at SiteOrigin.
