Hello, after having included [meteor_slideshow] according to the manual the slideshow still not appers on my page.

I did not publish the page, had only a look on the preview.
Is this the reason or is there another problem with the plugin?

I am not familar with php or other programming (only a bloody user).

I have also following plugins in place: All in one SEO, Anything popup, Black Studio TinyMCE Widget, Encoder, Enable Media Replace, Fast Secure Contact Form, FeedWordPress, Login With Ajax, Redirect, User Access Manager, WordPress.com Stats, WP DoNotTrack.

    Theme: Twentytwelve

Hopefully you could help in solving that problem.

    regards

  • Could be due to Autoptimize’s CSS or JS optimization, you can test by disabling Autoptimize on a per-request basis by adding ?ao_noptimize=1 to the URL.

if the problem is not there at that point, some autoptimize (re-)configuration might be needed to fix this. try to identify which one by disabling (and re-enabling) CSS optimization and then JS optimization. once you know that you’ll have to look into which CSS- or JS-file to exclude from optimization to fix.

AO’s FAQ has more info on troubleshooting and how to exclude.

    hope this helps,

Thank you for your input, but I dont have Autoptimize installed.
Nevertheless, it sounds for me very technical 🙁

    thanks,

ow, my mistake, should have read your list of installed plugins more carefully (WP Donottrack is also mine, hence the notification I got).

    have a nice day!

Hi @mfrog, you should be able to view the slideshow even if the post is saved as a draft and you are previewing it.

There are a number of issues that could be happening, it is possible that the shortcode isn’t quite right, if you copied it and pasted it into the visual editor, there could be other code copied along with it.

This could also be a JavaScript conflict that is preventing the slideshow from loading. To say for sure I would have to see the page you are having this issue on, are you able to publish it and send me a link?

    Hi Josh,
I created a side for testing purposes.

    Thanks!

Thanks, I took a look and I don’t see any content on that page.

Would you be able to send me a login so I can take a closer look?

You should have received an email.

Thanks for sending that info. I took a look and the slide posts were saved as drafts. The slideshow shortcode won’t display draft posts, I published two of the slide drafts and the slideshow is now loading.

    Thank you very much!

Hey Josh! New to Meteor Slides. I’m having the same issue that the slide is not showing up on the page. I checked that all my slides have been published. I add a new short code block to my page and type: [meteor_slideshow] when I go to update and preview, it is not there. Any help I can get would be much appreciated! TIA
