Site not appearing in search results

    I have a website that uses Elementor (pro version) and Yoast SEO (free version). I have setup Yoast in WordPress and in Elementor (for the static home page) and checked / setup everything in search.google.com months ago (I think in March).
    Still, I cannot find the site on google (at least not without site:aunt-peggy.eu), even when searching for the focus keyphrase itself…

    I feel like I tried everything and I’m kind of out of ideas.

    Does anyone know what might be off?

    I understand that you want your site to rank for specific keyphrases, but it does not. It could be that the posts are being optimized for highly competitive keywords. If your keywords are highly competitive, we recommend reviewing other aspects of the site to improve your ranking. You may want to use long-tail keywords – you can read more information about those here: Why focus on long-tail keywords?

    The site in question does not consist of posts, but static pages (or rather: a static home page plus two more pages for imprint and contact). The keywords (or rather: the entered focus keyphrase) is definitely not highly competitive either. Actually, when searching for the keyphrase word for word, the site does not appear on Google at all.
