• Hello,

I’m running a blog about local architecture. Currently, I manually type at the end of each blog post something like this:

    Text: x / Images: x / Sources: x

Is there any way or any plugin available to make this something that automatically appears in the admin back-end when typing the blog post, so that all of the authors on my blog just have to fill in the required fields.

An example for this is ArchDaily, they use it for their basic information at the beginning of their articles: http://www.archdaily.com/532476/reconstruction-of-the-square-in-frydlant-balda-architeckt

If anyone could help me, I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thank you and kind regards,
    Fréderic

  • There are two parts to this problem:

The first part, allowing the entry of the information in fields, can probably be addressed with the Advanced Custom Fields plugin, although I am not sure that fields can be required.

The second part, displaying the results, will require some coding to modify your templates. The exact coding will be determined by your theme. If you are not comfortable with this type of coding, you may need to hire someone to do the work for you. You can place a free ad at http://jobs.wordpress.net.
