Show summary text is not formatted

    Hi, this is really a great plug-in. Thank you so much.

    I use [vsel summary=”true”] and get a very nice listing of all events. For every event I get the title, date and time on the left hand side and the description section on the right hand side with my text displayed sequential. One word after the other, no formatting.

    As soon as I press “read more” the text is displayed as intended with bullets, but in the summary the formatting is removed.

    I understand, that the idea of the summary is to provide comprehensive information, but I still would prefer some decent formatting.

    Do you have any suggestions, how this can be fixed?

    Hi,

    If you don’t set your own custom summary (excerpt) via the Summary field, it creates a summary by using a native WP function. That one strips all formatting.

    Hi Guido, awesome, thanks a lot for the quick response!

    Actually, I had not realized that there is a special section „summary“. Based on your feedback I filled it out with a few descriptive topics. Even the use of „li„ to create bullets works well.

    Hi Dido,

    You’re welcome!
    I may replace this basic textarea field with a TinyMCE editor in the future, so you don’t have to use your own HTML for lists and other stuff.
