Shortcodes in snippets

    First, I must say that this plugin is freakin’ awesome. 😀

    My question is this: what should I expect when using shortcodes (from other plugins) within my snippets?

    I’ve done some testing and gotten mixed results. Some shortcodes seem to work fine, others just display as bracketed text. None of these are two-word shortcodes (which I’m aware are not supported in WP4.4). I *do* have “shortcode” checked; I do not have PHP code or wptexturize enabled.

    I’m wondering if it’s just dependent on the shortcode itself (maybe some are coded better than others), if the snippets are not intended to support shortcodes and I just got lucky in some cases, or if it’s something I’m doing right/wrong.

    Any advice would be gratefully received!

    Hi,

    Using other shortcodes in a shortcode snippet should work fine. Do you have any example of a plugin providing a shortcode that does not execute correctly from a shortcode snippet? If so I’ll take a look and see what the cause might be that it’s not working in that particular case.
