SEO description

    Hi,

    It seems that Age gate is overriding my SEO settings and the Age Gate message appears in the og:description, is there a runaround for this issue.

    Here can be seen in the fb debug console

    Hi @ihou,

    Age Gate doesn’t do anything with the og: tags. The only thing it changes is the document title which you can turn off under the Appearance settings (Change the page title)

    Looking at the facebook debugger I don’t see a description at all – if this is the homepage of your site I think Yoast picks it up from the site tagline which you can also update in the yoast settings

    Yes, it’s no longer appearing after I switched the Method for caching/performance to Standard (PHP).
