Risen theme contact-form not working

    Hi experts,

    I don’t know much about wordpress or how to make web pages. Somehow I now am in charge of the web page of our church. (I am a developer, so I hope we can fix the problem together.)

    It is a running page with the theme “Risen” and some plugins etc.

    Once the contact form worked fine and a few years ago I changed 2-3 places in the files so the text on the page was written in Danish. It still worked fine after that.

    Now I have found out that the submit (or “Send e-mail”) button does nothing.

    I guess that it is because there has been some updates (which I always install), but I cannot find any log of what has happened or any backup (except for the backup I make once a week and save for a month).

    Is it possible to get the correct files for the Risen Theme or maybe reinstall the Risen theme from somewhere?

    Hello,

    As Risen theme is a paid theme I think you may need their Support team who can easily support you on this.

    Also I found this reference see if this helps.

    On a side note, I found some jQuery error in the browser console so maybe that is one of the reasons for the Contact Form not working as expected.

    Hi,

    I advise switching the theme to default first before deciding to re-installing Risen theme completely.

    More importantly, you need to investigate this issue and if possible troubleshoot using your contact form plugin.

    Thank you for your reply!

    I have contacted the company, who own the Risen theme now. There is no support anymore, but we can buy another theme.

    For now, I fix the problem by removing the contact form from the page.
