    Hi,

I have not tried PODs, but if their custom post types are normal WordPress custom post types with a fancy management user-interface to create them then I believe it should work just fine. You’ll want to use display="posts" along with post-type="your-pods-post-type-slug" to test that theory.

    Thanks, Dani!

I just wanted to follow-up. I used the A-Z Listing block in Gutenburg (Is this new? Because it’s great) and in the Post Type droplist in the Block settings, it did list the custom Pod post types. I also verified using the shortcode syntax you recommended originally, and it too also worked!

So it appears that A-Z Listing is Pods compatible!

I definitely think you should verify it on your end too, and then update the plugin description (everyone should know), and maybe let the Pods people know too!

Thanks for coming back to let me know how you got on. That’s really great to hear that pods is compatible, and that you’re enjoying the A-Z Listing block in the block editor. The block arrived with version 4.0.0 and should be considered the easiest and safest way to work out the combination of options that can be applied.
