PHP 8.0 Compatibility

    Good day,

    While performing PHP 8.0 compatbility testing, our team found that there was a critical error caused by the Grow Social Plugin when trying to access the dashboard [Screenshot]

    Checking the changelogs, our team didn’t find any mention of PHP 8.0 compatibility. As a temporary fix, removing the offending line of code allowed us to resolve this error, but we wanted to know if/when you would be providing a PHP 8.0 compatible update?

    Hey @wpsitecare,

    Thanks for reaching out! I had a look at the site listed this afternoon and it looks like it’s running an extremely old version of the plugin (Social Pug) before it was rebranded to Grow Social Pro.

    If the site owner is a current subscriber to Grow Social Pro, feel free to have them reach out to grow@mediavine.com and we’ll be more than happy to get things squared away so they’re on the proper version!
