• Hi,

I’m sure you are aware of a problem, when using Woocommerce with shop or category base removed, regular WordPress pages cannot be found and returns 404 error. Is there a way your plugin could help?

    Hi @player05,

This plug in provides the permalink settings page where you can set the permalink structure for each post type seperately. Have you tried that?

If yes, so can you share your settings for the pages and posts?

    Thanks,
    Sami

    Hi,

As I see your plugin has nothing to do with this problem – it will not remove any woocommerce slugs, sorry for offtopic.

    Well – hi again:)

All these 11 hours I’ve been struggling to find a solution and have come to the same result as your plugin does – it’s easy to clear URL for Woocommerce products, but it does not allow to change product category slug:

Products slug: http://www.site.com/%product_cat%/%postname% – works fine.

Since it is not possible to set product category slug in you plugin’s options, I change slug (permalink) in Woocommerce categories – and its not working (not even saving result I input).

    Any ideas?

    Hi,
I installed the plugin ydy.I have a woocommerce shop.
    I set the basic permalinks-
    custom structure- http://sitename-/%title%/
    custom base -/http:/sitename.ru/product-category

    In the structure tags
    Posts-page/%year%-%title%/
    Pages- %title%/
    Product page-%product_cat%/%title%/

In your instructions it is clearly written that %title% enables to redo the titles so that the URL is shown differently. So, in fact I could write whatever I want there–right?

while editing everything changes except the last set of symbols. The page now has 404 error.
    any idea how to solve?

I tried removing it, but it stays there! pls help

    Hi @teamate,

Can you please tell me the exact title you have written?

Secondly, when you have written the title whether the post is published. I mean you have updated the title after publish the post or it’s a new post where the issue occurs

    Thanks,
    Sami

    Hi again,

Since the plugin did not give me any results I have temporarily deactivated it till I resolve.I sat with this issue for already 2 days.:((
    OK. Once again-
I am revamping the entire site after a couple of years and all these products are published. Why is it called posts? Thought posts are Blogs!I m not a WP geek.just a beginner.I also probabaly mess it up a bi by doing trail and errros which is not so good in the case of PL.
Aim is to get nice and neat URL with good SEO friendly Keywords. My site- teamate.ru.
    My Permalink settings
    -common settings
-post name( appears in custom dialog box as(% postname%)
    Optional-
I did not type anything coz dont know how to use it, but there is a prompt(means not typed by me) product-category against product cat base and product-tag(against dialog box produt tag)
    Product permalinks
    -/%prod_cat%( without trail)
I want to set your plugin and use for 1) for posts and pages 2)Woocommerce-products
I read many times your instructions and guess the title can give me the solution.I want products to show without category slug and directly take the sub category slugs and I edit the titles(where I would add SEO key words)
For the blogs/pages- have no idea how to go with it.
If you could kindly give me a proper guidance I would activate and use the plugin.
    Thanks,

    Hi @teamate,

I think you have not visited the plugin settings page yet. On the plugin settings page, all the posts are listed and the input field is available there. So, if you want the custom structure so, you define the settings in the plugin settings page.

If you are defining or using the tags on the WordPress Default Permalink settings page so, it may cause the issue.

As per your domain, you can find the settings page here:

Let me know if i am getting you wrong.

    Thanks,
    Sami
