    Hi all,

It seems that I am asking quite something. We are only looking for a an extension on Woocommerce. A deposit plugin that will make the customer pay a deposit and can email somebody on a given date that the balance needs to be paid. Clients and guests.

At the moment we are using a plugin with this functionality but there seem te bo many issues with it, we are thinking to change. Reminder emails are send out randomly to clients who do not need to pay yet, or whio already have paid in full. This is a no-go for us.

    What we like:

**Our vacation packages are offered on specific dates. Two months prior to the departure date, customers should receive a reminder. If they make a reservation within the two-month window, they are obligated to pay the full amount upfront.**

In essence, we require a plugin that facilitates the following:

    1. **Deposit and balance payment functionality:** Customers should be able to make an initial deposit upon booking and settle the remaining balance before the departure date.

    2. **Automated reminder system:** The plugin should automatically send reminders to customers two months before their scheduled departure date, prompting them to complete the payment process.

    3. **Flexible payment schedule:** Customers who book within the two-month window should be directed to pay the full amount immediately, bypassing the deposit stage.

Who can suggest a good, woking plugin because so far I did not find any.

    Hello @theconsul,

    Thank you for reaching out!

You can achieve most of this with the WooCommerce Deposits and Bookings extensions.

The only part that might not be feasible by default is removing the partial payments option if the booking period is less than 2 months. You might need to hire a WooExpert to help you modify the code of either plugin to achieve this.

    2. **Automated reminder system:** The plugin should automatically send reminders to customers two months before their scheduled departure date, prompting them to complete the payment process.

This can be done via AutomateWoo, our WooCommerce automation extension. :‎)

You can configure it to perform numerous workflows, like sending out emails when a customer’s credit card is about to expire or if they’ve left something behind in their cart. I’ve attached a screenshot showcasing some of the preset workflows that come with the extension. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg! You have the freedom to create your own workflows using a wide variety of triggers and actions.

All extensions sold on WooCommerce.com have a 30-day refund policy. If the product doesn’t work the way you need it or you think another product would work better, we are more than happy to provide a full refund. :‎)

    Hope this helps!
