• Hello

I am creating a wordpress site and using Collapse-O-Matic to display content in a meaningful way.

In the following example, the accordion is always displayed open. Normally it is closed.

Have a look: https://wp.die-messe.org/die-messe/?v=alt (Button: Ankommen)

Do you have any ideas what the problem could be?

I use the shortcode as follows:
    [expand title=”Kyrie”]
    Text
    [/expand]

    Thanks a lot
    Norman

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Not seeing where collapse-o-matic expand is being used on the page linked to.
The Ankommen button is triggering a pop-up, not a collapse element. Can you be more specific on how to see the issue on the page?

    Hi twinpictures
Many thanks for your fast respond.

The collapse-o-matic element is used when opening the pop-up “Ankommen”. It shows different Elements, like “Einzug”, “Kyrie”, etc.

The accordion is working pretty fine on following page with the exact same shordcode as on the pop-up:
    https://wp.die-messe.org/test/

Maybe collapse-o-matic is not working with the pop-up-banner?

    Cheers

    ah! now I see it!
OK! So the issue is simple. hen the pop-up is triggered, the content is loaded dynamically, and the initial ‘collapse’ function that is triggered on page load, does not see this content (as it has not yet been loaded).

Solution: Does the pop-up feature (plugin or theme feature?) offer a callback? If so, this callback can trigger the collapse_init() function and everything will work as it should.

What can you share about the pop-up feature? how it’s created and so.
