• Update from March 2020:
3.0.16 is a nightmare. Saving Snippets and Snippet names does not work at all. Activating the Plugin causes PHP warning. Pro Upgrade button causes error on multisites. Topics are discussed in the support forum but not solved by the author. Instead the last updates mainly focussed on polishing rather than fixing bugs… Still disappointed.

    Review from early 2018:
this plugin has startet as a nice little tool we used on many sites. unfortunately they now try to monetarise the plugin in an aggressive way.

I do not mind to pay for a good tool, but the idea of providing every WordPress-Plugin with a Pro Version with subscription plan is frustrating. Has only one develeper thought on how many plans an agency has to manage for only one WordPress instance?

Next annoying thing is: they opt-in you for ›anonymous user data‹ transfer without consent, which is not GDPR compliant.

Worst is the fact, that it is no longer working with Visual Page Builder, causing a JQuery conflict.

  • Hi,

I’m sorry you feel that way…

What specifically do you find aggressive? With your specific feedback I would like to review this and see if I can decrease it.

Next annoying thing is: they opt-in you for ›anonymous user data‹ transfer without consent, which is not GDPR compliant.

It’s opt-in and GDPR compliant. If you find something that is not good, please let me know the specifics. But no data should be collected unless you opt-in yourself,

Worst is the fact, that it is no longer working with Visual Page Builder, causing a JQuery conflict.

Conflicts between WordPress plugins are something that will never go away, but we (the developers) try to solve them. Please create a support topic if you encounter them so I can investigate!

    Kind regards
    David
