    Hello.
I have updated MetaSlider on my wordpress site as requested a few weeks ago.
It has disappeared since this update (october 2018).
I have checked the configuration. I have checked if there was any conflict as well.
Anyone who has the same problem ?
    Thank you for response !

  • Hi @gregorypichet,

What page is the slideshow on? I can take a look. Usually its from caching though, so if you could clear out any caching mechanism that might fix it right away.

    Thanks a lot for answering @kbatdorf !
Unfortunately, there is no problem with caching mecanism.

The page where it should be appear : http://www.gregorypichet.fr/contact/

    Thanks you.

    Hi @gregorypichet,

I believe BWP Minify caches JS and CSS. Did you try to disable that?

I’m having the same problem, I’m using the pro-version. I tried all the usual stuff (switching off all other plugins and caching, switching to standard theme, turning on wp_debug, checking Javascript console, surrounding with [raw]-tag) but nothing worked or gave a clue.

Finally reverted back to version 3.9.1 and that worked (to save others time: you can find previous versions at the bottom of this page).

Unfortunately I could not find the previous 2.9 version for the Pro-Add on pack but this setup works for now.

    Hi @sabinevi,

Your issue is different and is affecting only some pro users. Not sure why exactly, but I have a fix in testing now. If you could contact us through our support channel I can sent you an update.

Thanks @sabinevi. You just saved me probably and hour of work or so in troubleshooting. I hope they get the issue worked out.

    Hi @smallwebsolutions,

I’ll make a release asap, but that might be Monday. If you send a message to our pro support I’ll send it to you there now.

Hi, this should be fixed so I’ll close this issue, but feel free to comment or open a new issue if you have any problems. Thanks!

Metaslider has stopped on our website since the last update.
It worked fine for the past three years.
We only use it on our home page http://www.pawsandclaws.org
I did F12 in Chrome and found the following errors.
Uncaught TypeError: s.prop is not a function

    Hi @cire6841,

Can you open a new issue so it doesn’t email everyone from this thread?

It looks like your site is using a very old version of jQuery. We use the .prop() method which was added to v1.6, and you’re on v1.3. v1.6 was released in 2011 and 1.3 is 10 years old.

Quick fix would be to switch to FlexSlider, but even better would be to update jQuery. Which version of WP are you using?
