When I installed the latest update today (May 28) it created an issue where our authors’ links to their profiles are showing as plain text instead of hyperlinks.

Any suggestions on how to resolve this?

We’re also using the plugin and also noticed this issue not long after updating to the latest version. I assume this will be fixed, but for what it’s worth, we were able to resolve the issue by deleting the plugin and installing version 3.4.5.

I can confirm this issue.

It seems to be due to a change made to line 205 of template-tags.php

$output is not run through esc_html. Changing it back resolves the issue.

Correction (typo):

$output is *now* run through esc_html. Changing it back to *not* esc resolves the issue.

Will this be fixed by an update? Or do I need to fix it based on @misfist suggestions?

Hi!

I’ve noticed the same issue, does the plugin developers plan to solve it in next update or is there something we can do in our code to solve this, even if this is just temporary?

It looks like version 3.4.7 released a few hours ago fixes this issue.
