I have added multiple individual FAQ blocks to one page (split into categories) but I’ve received an error from Google Search Console, which is saying the code is incorrect. I get Duplicate field “FAQPage” error.

I’m guessing this is because the plugin generates an FAQPage field with each block added to the page. Is there a setting to only put a single FAQPage field per page?

Or am I best to only put one FAQ block per page to avoid the error?

Apologies if I’ve missed something obvious… I’m currently using the free version of the plugin.

    Thanks in advance, kind regards,

    Brian

    Hi @rolandxp30,

Thanks for reaching us. Hope you are doing great today!

The Easy Accordion has the option to enable the schema on each shortcode. If you are using multiple shortcodes on the same page, we suggest you keep the schema enabled only on one shortcode. This way you can avoid the warning of duplicate “FAQPage” error on Google. In recent updates, only a couple of FAQs will be visible from a page in the search result. We suggest you enable the schema of the most important FAQs shortcode.

Hopefully, the above information will help you.

    Have a great day!
