Hi – I am trying to move my new WP site on a subdomain to the root directory. I have read the several posts on this here, but can’t seem to figure out how to make it work with out killing my site. I have backed up all of my files on my home computer.

I have tried to change the URLS in the general settings and they are greyed out. So I can’t even follow some of the instructions given. Do i need to change wp-config files?

I am not sure which directions are the right ones to follow in my situation. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
