• I am converting an existing website over to WordPress. To avoid downtime I have installed WordPress and got it properly set up in a subdirectory of the root (for testing etc). Now I am ready to shift WordPress into the root folder, so I will upload all the files into their new locations. I have already added some posts and pages to the test version, ready for the real thing, so will leave the database as it is.

Are there any issues I need to watch out for? Once I have uploaded the files to their new locations, will I be able to log in to admin from the homepage and update the WordPress and Blog paths in General Options, and reset the permalinks?

Or is there more to it?
