    Hi, this is my setup:
    WordPress v6.3
    Elementor v3.15.2
    Elementor Pro v3.15.1
    Elementor Addon Elements v1.12.5
    Advanced Custom Fiels Pro v6.2.0

I’m using the modal popup widget to open a popup inside an elementor loop grid to display dynamic content from advanced custom fields. I noticed that some of my acf field types like text area, date, wysiwyg are not displaying in the popup on the frontend while others like text, oembed, image are working just fine.

I temporarily switched to using pods instead of acf for the field types that aren’t working with acf but i really would like to stick to using only one plugin for the custom fields.

Is there anything I’m doing wrong or are those field types just not supported in the modal popup widget?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi @florianw7,

Right now, Modal Popup widget is not supported in Elementor Loop Grid.

    I have same problem here
did you figure it out how to make modal popup work with acf in loop grid ?

No sadly not, there needs to be an update from the plugin authors. I went for another solution not using Elementor Addon Elements instead.

    Thank you,
can you tell me what did you do to resolve it
    what is the solution?

I didn’t go for the modal popup approach, so I sadly can’t help you any further.

    Hi

We are trying to figure out how to make the Modal popup widget compatible with Elementor Pro’s loop widget.
Meanwhile, if you are looking for an alternate way to do this, you can check one of our other plugins, Anywhere Elementor Pro (Note: This is a paid plugin)
You can read more about Modal Popup widget’s integration with this plugin here https://www.elementoraddons.com/tutorial/elementor-open-post-readmore-modal-popup/

    @wpvibes
    Thank you for your response
But I don’t want to buy an entire plugin just to use just one widget
If you can solve the problem I will be happy to do so

Same problem for me, I’m disappointed…

I am having the same problem and have been working on it for 3 days now. 🙁

Why is this being marked as resolved?

    Hi

We have investigated the issue and found that if another template is used inside the Elementor loop, then the dynamic tags used inside that template won’t work. This can be confirmed by adding ACF fields to the Elementor template and then adding that template to the loop using a shortcode.

Our modal popup also loads another template inside the loop template.
We are trying to figure our the alternate approach so that we can get rid of this limitation for Elementor loop.

Same problem for me! For now, is there an alternate solution which doesn’t involve purchasing another plugin?
