    Hi

I was trying to set up Google listings & Ads but stumbled into a weird issue: the plugin only gives me the possibility to create a new merchant account and not link to my existing one that is specifically created for this website and already used for ads – so naturally I don’t want to create a new account. What do I do when I only have one button that says “Create merchant account” and no other option to go further?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @didizahar85

It will be great if you could share your current System Status Report. You can get it by navigating to the WooCommerce / Status section of your site. Once there, click on the Get system report button and then copy it by clicking on the Copy for support button. Then paste it here in a comment.

Make sure you first disconnect Google Listing and Ads from any existing account using the steps here
    https://woocommerce.com/document/google-listings-and-ads/#section-15

Once you have done this, make sure you sign out of any Google accounts on the same browser where you are trying to link your account, to avoid any session conflicts. It will be best if you clear browser history and cache using the steps heer – https://clear-my-cache.com , and restart the browser first.

Login to WP admin and try to connect your Google account. when you click the button to do so, you will have an option to either sign in using existing Google account or create a new one.

Till Not do show well. My existing accounts are not showing up whether I clear Cache or anything you indicated.

Let us know when you’re able to share the system status report mentioned above @foxyshirts 😁 that will give us a bit more to go off of. Thanks!

    Hey @foxyshirts,

Were you able to pull the status report for us? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it here.

    Thanks!

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
