    Hi,

Last VSEL versions contain several major changes.

    Most important changes are:

    • I have removed all event label attributes. You can now change or hide labels via the settingspage.
    • To reduce space the featured image in widget and on mobile screen is not full width anymore. It’s now max 40% of the event content area.
    • Most elements can be changed for page or widget separately, via the settingspage.
    • Page and widget event list are completely separated from each other. They use their own files as well.
    • A list of all changes can be found here (changelog).

  • Now that Start Date and End Date are on one line (which I like) there is no space between them. Looks like this: “Start date: October 2, 2017End date: October 5, 2017” when viewed on computer screen.

    Hi,

Strange, because I’ve added a separator between them (a hyphen). Do you have an URL so I can take a look at your site?

    Guido

    Thanks Guido,

    Yes, here is the link.

I saw the separator in the code but it doesn’t appear on screen.

We are using WordPress with Qode theme.

    Hi Andy,

You’re not using the option to combine dates, from plugin settingspage.

It’s caused by your custom CSS:

    #vsel .vsel-meta-date {width:auto; float:left;}

Thanks Guido. I was looking in the wrong place. Easy fix. Can you tell me if you ever intend to add the ability to put all the info on one line? So it would have
EventName StartDate EndDate Location MoreLink all in one row.

    Hi,

This is me asked before but I’m not planning this anytime soon. But I can create a customized version for you of course, but cannot do this for free.

    Hi @promium / Andy,

In a last update I’ve added a setting to hide the content area on the event page, so only the meta section is displayed (full width). When I take a look at the event page of your website I notice you did not activate this setting yet. So currently long event titles are displayed on separate lines.
