• Jetpack knows exactly how important they are for the industry, millions of sites use them. The stats were one of the most important features. They made a lot of stuff paid in the last weeks, but to let people play to use the standard features instead of making new ones that are better to pay for – that’s a decision that is not in the sense of the idea of WordPress. I hope they will bring the stats back – then I would update the review.

But as of today, they are actively destroying Jetpack to earn the most possible. That’s fine, they can do that, but most of the customers will not go this way. And if I have to pay to get basic stuff I got for years, I’m not buying this, what other plugins provide for free. I would maybe pay for better stats in Jetpack, something new. But not for stuff that was free before a few days ago.

    Hi @comicschau,

Thank you for sharing your concerns about the recent Jetpack changes, especially regarding the Stats feature. It’s good to mention that Stats are still available for free for personal sites that don’t generate revenue. We introduced a premium model for commercial sites to support enhancements and the development of new functionalities.

We understand it’s frustrating to see previously free features now behind a paywall. This step was taken to ensure we can continue to deliver and improve upon the quality services our community values. We are committed to making Jetpack better and more useful for all our users.

We would genuinely appreciate hearing what specific features or improvements you’d like to see in Jetpack. Your suggestions are crucial for us as we plan future updates. Please feel free to share your ideas with us via email using this contact form.

Thanks again for reaching out. Your feedback helps us stay aligned with our users’ needs.

    Best regards!
