• Hello everyone,

I’m encountering an issue and wanted to see if anyone has experienced something similar. It appears that a page from our 2022 site is still connected to our current site, and the terms and conditions are not linked correctly.

When I tried adding plugins like Elementor to update the old version, the issue persisted. Quick edits didn’t update the necessary parts, so I attempted to manually change it directly on the site. However, it won’t let me edit the terms and conditions. Normally, I should see a pencil icon to edit, but it doesn’t appear.

Has anyone else faced this issue? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

  • Hi @marvin0427,

Do you try to edit your link in the WordPress Customizer (Appearance -> customize)? Did you try to look into Appearance -> menus ?
If you don’t see any pencil icon on it, it means it is maybe not editable by WordPress natives tools.

Your link can be harcoded or maybe your website use the ACF plugin and you have a theme options page where you can edit it ? You can provide the URL of your website and the name of theme you use, it will maybe more easy to help you.

    Best regards

Are you talking about different websites? So one from 2022 and one from this year?

Or are you talking about a single page in a website? A link would be interesting to see the connection.

Do you use a caching plugin? Empty its cache.

    Hi @nlangle,

Thank you so much for your insight! I really appreciate your help. I’ll look into whether the link is hardcoded or if there’s a theme options page where I can edit it.

    Thanks again!

    Hi @threadi,

Thank you for your response. Yes, I’m referring to a single page on our website that seems to be connected to an older version from 2022. I’ll check if there’s a caching plugin active and empty its cache to see if that resolves the issue.

I’ll provide an update once I’ve checked these aspects. Your assistance is greatly appreciated!

    Best regards,

I still don’t understand how you draw the connection to 2022. Where is this to be seen? A link to the page would also be interesting.
