• I am not sure if this is the right place to post this, but here it goes.

I am looking for a plugin that is able to show widgets based on the page the visitor first landed on. In other words let’s say a visitor landed on the page “B” the first time he visited the site. This page will have a certain topic, and I want chosen widget’s to show up on my other pages all over the blog, based on the fact that the visitor first landed on the page “B”.

It should work like this. If the visitor first landed on page “B” widget 1 should display on home page, and about us page. widget 2 should display on author’s page, and Sales page or whatever.

It could work based on a cookie or maybe based on IP, which means that if it works based on cookie then browser would install the cookie, and trigger the correct widget, and if it would work based on IP then the plugin would remember the IP and use it display the proper widget.

If the person visit’s another trigger page, I would want it to overwrite the cookie or the IP to that page’s particular set of widgets that would be displayed on the site.

is this possible and is there such a plugin.

    Thanks

  • Hi,

I wanted to do something similar too. I recently downloaded this plugin but have not implemented it. It promises to do what you need, so if you haven’t tried this already, check it out – https://wordpress.org/plugins/logic-pro/

Thanks that is really cool. Although it seems like I would have to get their Pro version to make it to work across pages, which is exactly what I am looking for. I guess I would have to go without it for now, and maybe get it later because it is not cheap…

I just don’t know if my project worth the investment for now.
