hello. I use YOAST’s breadcrumb feature, but I also apply filters to display custom breadcrumbs on specific pages or categories.

However, since there is no class specified in the separate, unnecessary breadcrumb cannot be hidden.

The problem can be solved with JavaScript, but I am reluctant to load unnecessary JavaScript on every page that contains breadcrumbs.

I would like to know if there is a way to modify the file or add a class to the separate using a filter.

    thank you.

    Hello @cheonmu

Thanks for reaching out but we do not have a feature to add a class to the Yoast SEO breadcrumbs output. You can find the plugin source code here and make changes that suit your needs.

    Hi

I solved it by simply modifying the Separator between breadcrumbs option as follows:

    <span class="sperate">»</span>

It seems to work fine for me.

    Thank you.
