Invalid contact forms found

    Hi. I have your plugin on a couple of my sites. With this new update, I’ve received a message that “invalid contact forms were found” Every single contact form has the same red message “1 configuration error found“

    In one it simply says: “This field can be empty depending on user input” where I have typed [your-subject] in the subject box.

    Is that really an error?

    Yes. Make the your-subject field required or add some text to the Subject mail field.

    Resolved is only wishful thinking. The plugin is broken as of the CF7 4.4 version and WordPress is not the problem.

    This is a great plugin. I’m sure Takayuki will make the fixes necessary. The latest wordpress update caused a lot of problems for many plugin creators. It will all smooth out, I’m sure.

    I wouldn’t be so confident @namgostar It seems as though Takayuki is in denial, insisting that it works and we are all just using it wrong. I wish developers would adhere to the maxim “if it aint broke, don’t try and fix it.”

    I’m on the lookout for an alternative plugin after wasting several hours trying all the suggestions here. Does anyone have any suggestions for an alternative Contact form that works properly?
