Installing any addon gives “Error while installing”

    I need to install the Advanced Import addon so I can import a few thousand email addresses to the Newsletter plugin.

    I successfully installed the Addon manager by uploading the .zip to the site.

    However when I selected ‘Install Now’ on ‘Advanced Import’ I get the error message ‘Error while installing’

    This seems to happen for any addon. For example, I also tried installing the WP Users Integration addon and the exact same problem occured.

    I am using Newsletters 7.5.6 and WordPress 6.1
