I thought to use wpforms: gpt told me to, but it is paid stuff. I want a free open source type stuff.

I want new registering users to email admin with a test message first and then admin can approve or not depending on that message.

Currently the get ‘verified’ by answering an email from the site but those verifications are worthless for most of them are from spam whether human or not I don’t know – but rubbish I’m sure.

So if they had to email admin and state why they want to register I figure that might do the trick.

Is there a plugin or some way to configure?
