How to get current language in Javascript?

    Sorry to open a new ticket but I didn’t find a solution.

    Is there a JS function to get the current language?

    I have a JS script that needs to be different for each language. I can only use JS, not PHP.
    The script is used to integrate the Cookie banner created with Iubenda https://www.iubenda.com/en/

    var my_current_language = document.documentElement.lang;
