    Hi there,
I’ve been away from WordPress for a few years and have now come back to find all these wonderful goodies! 🙂 No need to go crazy with CSS: I can just use blocks.

So a pseudo-newbie question: If I want a UAG post grid on my blog page (and not inserted in another page), how do I do this?

My home page is static and the page “blog” is where my blog is displayed. How do I get the post grid in there?

I’ve tried de-selecting “blog” as my blog page (in Settings > Reading) and then adding a block in there, but as soon as I switch it back to being my blog page in Settings > Reading, it goes back to displaying the theme’s blog layout.

Is this functionality foreseen with UAG? Or does UAG only provide post grids on pages other than your actual blog page?

    Hello @electricfeet ,

Firstly, I’d like to let you know, you cannot edit any Blog/Archive page with Page Builders. Whenever you set any blog page by default it becomes a WordPress archive page and WordPress doesn’t allow you to edit the archive page with any page builder.

The Posts Archive page and Single Post template that the default theme uses are, in fact, standard WordPress Blog and Single post templates.

Now, your blog page was set as a Posts Archive page in the WordPress Settings > Reading. It means that it was converted to a standard WordPress template.

Because we cannot edit the postage using any page builder, you can design your blog page as a static page, where you can use our Post Grid block.

When you change that block as a blog page, it will convert that page into a standard WordPress template.

    I hope that clarifies.

    Regards,
    Sweta

    Thank you!
