    Hello!
    ~
H5P is a free and open-source content collaboration framework based on JavaScript. H5P is an abbreviation for HTML5 Package, and aims to make it easy for everyone to create, share and reuse interactive HTML5 content.[2][3] Interactive videos, interactive presentations, quizzes, interactive timelines and more[4] have been developed and shared using H5P on H5P.org. H5P is being used by 17 000+ websites (Wikipedia)

The WordPress H5P plugin enables editing all H5P interactive content types (Interactive Videos, quizzes) directly using WordPress.

Unlike SCORM editors, the implementation of H5P is free and Open Source and can be used by anyone for free. With the WordPress H5P plugin, H5P created in (or uploaded to) your WordPress site can be used as the content of Lessons in Tutor LMS Lessons by clicking the button “Add H5P” in the editor of Lessons.

This works fine and using H5P, one has far more quiz types available, but results for these quizzes and their completion is not tracked by Tutor LMS.

Does anybody have any work that could be shared to improve this situation?

Main items to need to be implemented are:
    — Lessons containing H5P content should not show the button “Mark as Complete” above the lesson, because only completing the H5P content shall complete the lesson, not the user, by clicking this button.

    — As mentioned above, the H5P content shall mark the lesson in which it is used as completed.

    That’s basically it.

With this available, Tutor LMS could join the list of LMS which support H5P.

H5P supports xAPI and we successfully capture the xAPI statements using
https://github.com/otacke/h5pxapikatchu (it stores selected xAPI fields in a table) which is MIT licensed, so it would be no problem to re-use it for a Tutor LMS specific integration plugin.

In this Video, the author of the H5PxAPIkatchu plugin shows what the plugin does:

After working on SCORM/Tin Can API (xAPI) which turned out to just be Grassblade’s expensive proprietary solution, Md. Mehedi Hasan(@mehedih) said “We will then work on the H5P compatibility.”, but none has surfaced so far.

I’d hope that 2023 will finally be the year when H5P and Tutor LMS be integrated, it would definitely expand the possibilities of Tutor LMS immensely!
