    I’m not sure if this was the WordPress 5.5 update today or the NGG 3.3.10 one, but now whenever I go to ‘NextGen Gallery > Gallery Settings’ and click ‘Save Options’ it throws up this error on /wp-admin/admin.php?page=ngg_display_settings:

    Error thrown

    Call to a member function save() on null

    I’m on MySQL 5.7 and PHP 7.4.

    Yes I am referencing the settings not being saved problem.

    same.
    WP 5.5, PHP 7.4, MySql 5.7, theme Twnethy Thwenty.

    Then on AdminPage i have a white bar top under title.
    When i deaktivate NextGen, the white bar is gone.

    Your update seemed to have solved my TypeError Thrown Up comment giving me the inability to save changes in eg. Gallery Options or to click on an existing Gallery to make some changes.

    But now, when I try to change the title of an existing Gallery to eg. Wildscapes Green Tree Sname Series, if I save that change it then reads: D=”NGG_DATA_STRIP_HTML_PLACEHOLDER”>WILDSCAPES GREEN TREE SNAKE SERIES</DIV></BODY></HTML>

    Also I added in Alt Text/Title to all the images in this newly created Gallery and when I went to save those changes, all the new text I had added was changed and now reads:

    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC “-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN” “http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40/loose.dtd”&gt;
    <html><head><meta></head><body><div id=”ngg_data_strip_html_placeholder”>A beautiful green tree snake coiled on a tree branch. Photographed at the David Fleay Wildlife Park on the Gold Coast, Australia</div></body></html>

    Any suggestions?

    Much thanks, cheers, Irene

    Hi everyone.

    Thanks for the confirmation. Our developers could replicate and resolve the issue so we will wrap a new urgent update that will contain this fix alongside the other fixed problems that we have found in the meantime.
